The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations is to ensure that work equipment is used without risks to Health and Safety.

Are personnel exposed to noise above the action level?

The requirements of the Noise at Work Regulations are to protect people from exposure to harmful noise progressively take effect.

An assessment of daily personal exposure to noise will be needed wherever people have to shout or have difficulty being heard clearly in the workplace by someone about two metres away.

The Manual Handling Operations Regulations cover a wide range of Manual Handling activities which includes; lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving.
